The Voice and Leadership of NCAA Women's Bowling

The National Tenpin Coaches Association is an organization representing the coaches of NCAA women's varsity bowling.

The NTCA was formed to highlight the accomplishments of women bowlers at all three NCAA Division levels and to serve as a clearinghouse for information related to women's varsity bowling.

87 bowlers named Academic All NTCA

Nashville, TN – The National Ten Pin Coaches Association has announced its 2008 Academic All-NTCA.

Heading the list is Division II Player of the Year Bryanna Caldwell of The University of Central Missouri and Division III Player of the Year Vicki Spratford from New Jersey City University.  Division I “Rookie of the Year” from Maryland Eastern Shore, Kristina Frahm alongside fellow first year NCAA bowlers Katie Ann Sopp from Nebraska and Marissa Martinek from Arkansas State rounds out the first team. 

The NTCA honored fifteen student-athletes with first, second and third team mention.  Eighty-four student-athletes from nineteen schools were named Academic All- NTCA .  To be honored, student-athletes had to achieve a minimum of a 3.4 grade point average during the recent academic year. the list
